How the practice came to be run this way
Jordan Keel spent eight years as a nurse practitioner before opening this practice, four of them working in other people's med spas. What finally pushed her out was watching the same conversation happen over and over: someone would come in asking for a specific treatment, and the answer was always yes — because yes is what pays.
Candor opened in Alpharetta in 2019 on the opposite premise. Every visit starts with an exam and a conversation, both of which are free, and either can end with us telling you that what you're asking for isn't going to do what you want. That happens more often than you'd think. Under-eye hollows that are actually a skin-quality problem. Texture that's going to keep coming back until something changes at home. A face that's already had enough filler and needs a year off, not another syringe.
Anita Rao, MD, is our medical director. She sets the protocols, reviews the standing orders, and is the physician responsible for the medical services provided here. Georgia requires a practice like ours to have a physician in that role and to say who it is. We say it plainly, and you should expect the same from anybody you are comparing us with.
We are not the cheapest practice in North Fulton and we are not trying to be. What we are is a place where the person holding the syringe is licensed, supervised, named on the website, and allowed to tell you no.
Who is responsible for the medical services here
Anita Rao, MD is the physician responsible for the medical services provided here. Georgia requires an advertisement for medical services to identify that person by name, and most practices in this category do not — it is a ten-second check worth running on anybody you are comparing us with.

Come and stand in the room before you decide anything
Forty-five minutes, free, and most of it is talking. You meet the provider who would treat you, in the room where it would happen, and you can leave having decided nothing at all — which is a more useful visit than most people expect.
